Well done!
I give you my little gpu and only 2700 structures.
I hope this help

Did you install Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 on that system?

Uh, i forget it!!
3) Message boards : CPU : Computational errors (Message 403)

I try cpu multithread app in a 32 core system.
This is the error of all wus after few seconds:
<message>
(unknown error) - exit code -1073741515 (0xc0000135)
</message>

I try to reduce the number of core (16 and 12), but with no results
4) Message boards : Science : How about including biopolymers? (Message 340)

There is a research showing that for some proteins you can replace the step 2 with measuring the powder diffraction pattern, however, the step 1 cannot be replaced, you still need a good quality microcrystal. But for the microcystals there is no need to calculate the powder diffraction using the general Debye equation which we are doing in this project for the nanocrystals.

It's a pity. I like protein folding research! :-)

where might we see the results in the future? How, i.e., will this aid us in everyday life?

X-ray cristallography is used every day in a lot of scientific research, from new materials to protein folding. Example: fold.it

All other results are included in the final database.

Not bad 20% in 24 days.
This is the beta part of the project??
Or when we'll finish the remaining 80%, the project will close?
7) Message boards : Web site : Badges? (Message 318)
Posted 11 Jul 2017 by [VENETO] boboviz
Do you think to introduce badges for volunteers like other projects??
8) Message boards : Web site : State of the project (Message 312)
Posted 7 Jul 2017 by [VENETO] boboviz
This of course can be done, but our web site admin, Nikolay, is on vocation till August and unfortunately I'm not friendly with PHP. So, if I figure out how the status page is generated, then I'll insert the research progress information, if not, we will have to wait till August.

Thank you!
P.S. I don't think it's a priority for the project :-)

Why not insert, in server status, the state of queue like, for example, Gerasim??

10) Message boards : AMD : Got 0 new tasks (Message 301)
Posted 30 Jun 2017 by [VENETO] boboviz
The server status page updates once an hour. However in this project we may have 300 WUs now and 0 in a minute, because all 300 WUs were sent to someone already. New WUs are generated each 5 minutes. So, the information on the status page is always outdated.

Oh, thanks for the answer!

On my Rx260 this message
But in queue there are over 300 wu
Are all Cuda??
12) Message boards : Science : First week of beta (Message 254)

First week of crunching has gone, with some version updates (i think bugfix).
Is the code ok? Any preliminary results? Are admins happy about volunteer computational power??
13) Message boards : News : CPU usage in GPU apps (Message 253)
Posted 26 Jun 2017 by [VENETO] boboviz
The new OpenCL app 1.03 has a command line option --nowait which when specified reduces the CPU load to zero but at the same time makes the system almost unusable due to lagging.

I continue to prefer to dedicate a cpu core to my gpu.
14) Message boards : CPU : No work for cpu (Message 188)

I killed the gpu wu, because it's a notebook with an old integrated intel gpu...I retry to download cpu wus in this nb

It works, not always (sometimes again this message "No tasks are available for..."), but now i've crunched some cpu wus!

No rejections for the host 724 in the scheduler log either. Does this host recieve GPU WUs without problem? I'm asking because it has only one GPU WU assigned.

I don't know what is causing this problem. The scheduler log does not contain any rejections for the host 185.

The problem is in host 724
With host 185 i'm crunching cpu wus

Now there are 64 wus in cpu queue.
But my pc says "No tasks are available for XaNSoNS BOINC for CPU (multi-threaded)"
In my account preferences cpu is enabled

The times ranged from 3 to 92 seconds, with the average being around 35 seconds.

Yes, very variable lenght on my little gpu (from 25 seconds to 8 minutes).
But all wus seems to be ok, no bugs until now
19) Message boards : News : Project restart in June (Message 125)

It has always has a GPU client, as long as I have been here.

Yes, but it was a wrapper.
So, my question: gpu AGAIN?

Any chance of developing Droid/ARM clients?

Much more interesting: again a gpu client??
:-)
