The maintenance is almost over. The new native BOINC apps are being tested in the local network now. We expect the project to be restarted at the end of next week. This will be preceded by server and storage upgrade. The work on the database is still in progress and will continue in parallel with the computations.

Any chance of developing Droid/ARM clients? Much more interesting: again a gpu client?? :-)

It has always has a GPU client, as long as I have been here. I would be surprised if it did not. Can they keep them busy? That is another question.

Let's do some crystallography again... It's just a jump to the left...

It has always has a GPU client, as long as I have been here. Yes, but it was a wrapper. So, my question: gpu AGAIN?

Welcome Back! Sorry, no Droid/ARM clients are planned. Developing the Droid app would be worth it if it was a long-running project like SETI or Collatz.

It has always has a GPU client, as long as I have been here. Yes, all three GPU vendors are supported. Actually, the wrapper deals only with the communications with the BOINC client, it does nothing with the application itself. So, if the GPU was supported by the original non-BOINC app it would be supported by the native BOINC app as well.

Welcome Back! Are you going to release source code for both CPU and GPU apps? If you do, someone from community could take it and compile ARM app version(s), which could be run using Anonymous Platform. ____________ ![]()

They sure are small enough to be run on Android devices. They are really short which puts a lot of load on the servers. I would recommend they be bigger tasks.

Too much pausing and resuming of 32 threads. These are small enough to run single threaded. <app_config>
<app_version>
<app_name>xansons_cpu</app_name>
<plan_class>mt_linux</plan_class>
<avg_ncpus>1</avg_ncpus>
</app_version>
</app_config> | |

Some other on my team said they couldn't sign up. Account creation was disabled until yesterday. Can they sign up now?
