The paper was submitted to the journal about a month before this project was launched, so I was able to add only a brief mention of the BOINC project during the revision process. Great!! Waiting for new wus....

What are your future plans and hopes for XaNSoNS?

What are your future plans and hopes for XaNSoNS? Sorry for long response. I’m finishing up work on the improvements of the source code suggested by the reviewers. The improvements are related to error handling, built-in documentation and overall readability of the code. I hope this facilitate the adoption of XaNSoNS (or at least some of its algorithms for GPU) by other researchers. The update will be ready in a few days. Then I will go back to the issues specific to this project. Luckily, I already know how to address them. I haven't thought yet about the future of XaNSoNS beyond this project.

Was just checking in here and just wanted to suggest before you launch you might as well and go ahead and update the BOINC server. In terms of your side, I don't know what enhancements have been made although I thought I heard they been positive. On our side, it's somewhat of an updated to the interface. Nothing dramatic, just some things are presented differently like /home.php now takes the user directly to the preferences page and you can click on your name to get to that too...

I'll discuss the possibility of an update with Nikolay Khrapov. I hope, we will restart the calculations in two months.

No news?? Actually, most of the work is complete. Now I'm testing the new native BOINC apps in my local network. I hope, the project will be restarted in two weeks. I'll make a separate post early next week. Thank you for asking!
